Wife rides periodically on our new '02 Savage--seems to be fine for our limited runs, maybe 100 miles--has the power and the stopping power even with 300+ pounds of humanoids hanging on. Of course much more relaxing with better command of the road when riding solo. Also have a friend with a HD and he would rather leave the wife at home--even with a HD Road King in his case, solo is the word. I'm 160 and the wife is ?/#%@(*?/! pleasingly plump!
